It was during a canoe trip with his son along the banks of the clear pristine waters of the Sabinas river when David saw these beautiful, majestic pecan trees and both him and his son fell in love with pecans.

And it was those particular conditions that could yield such amazing trees, and such delicious pecans; the clear water from the river that constantly fed this rich and perfect soil, basking under the warm, bright light of a northern mexican sun.*
